Night golf means playing golf at night, which is kind of a new concept. So what kind of glow sticks are included in night golf supplies? Night golf supplies refer to products that are needed to play night golf. Well, in order to light up the golf course at night, light emitting products are needed. And obviously it’s not convenient and also going against golf course design to have electoral lines for light bulbs; and also consider the fact that they are only needed at night, more portable and easier supplies such as glow sticks are needed.
Night golf supplies mostly consist of glow in the dark products, which fit perfectly into the scenario. They are portable, so they easy go with wherever the players and golf balls are. The golf balls are lighted with small light sticks that are inserted into the center of the balls. With a tight fit the light stick will stay in the ball after hard hitting with wooden or iron drivers. The players are lighted with glow necklaces. The course is typically lighted with 6” glow sticks in green, as they tend to be the brightest. Hazard areas such as sand, pond, etc are lighted with orange 6” glow sticks.
What about carts? Well as glow necklaces are 22” long and skinny in profile, they can be used to light up carts, just taping to them carts. On the green, the flag pole is lighted with 12” long glow sticks, typically in green. If one 12” is not enough, use two, so golfers can locate where the poles are when they tee-off. Once you get on the green, bendable glow wristbands, which is an important of night golf supplies, are used to bend into the cup to light up the hole on the green.
Another advantage of using glow sticks for night golf is that as glowsticks come in different colors, you can assign different colors to different teams. For example, if you have 24 players and 3 per team, you can assign each team with a different color of golf balls, thus making it easier to coordinate and see the team’s performance. No wonder glow products are great night golf supplies.
