So which color glow sticks are the brightest?

Posted in Glow Sticks Facts on February 10, 2009

One of the most common misassumptions about glowsticks is that the White color is the brightest of all glow sticks, which is actually not the case. Green & Yellow are typically the brightest of all. Here is the lineup in terms of brightness intensity & glowing duration:

Starting with brightest & longest duration: Green, Yellow, Orange, Red, Blue, Pink, Purple & White.

This can be helpful when selecting glowsticks for events that would require either a higher output of light or a longer duration of glowing time for glowsticks. For example, if you don’t have a specific color requirement and are just looking for bright glow sticks, you could consider getting Green or Yellow. On the other hand, if you have a school color themed event or other events with themed colors, you could go with the colors required, even though may not be as bright as green or yellow, but still bright enough for lighting up the night!
