How Can I Make Glow Necklaces Glow Longer?

Posted in Glow Sticks Facts on December 2, 2008

Some customers have raised the questions as to how to extend the glowing time of glow necklaces. The typical glow necklaces last about 8 to 12 hours. Because the glowing process is essentially a chemical reacting process, the only way to make them last longer would be to slow down the reacting process. And the most common way of doing that would be cooling the glow necklaces, for example, putting them in freezer. In hot summer days, throwing glow necklace in icy water would do the trick too.

On the other hand, to make glow necklaces glow brighter you would want to speed up the chemical reaction process by heating the glow sticks, but as a compromise they would last in a shorter amount of time.
